Belsyre Court, 57, Woodstock Road, Oxford

Not every project we undertake is in a Central London high-profile commercial building or infrastructure facility. No matter what the size or profile of building our customers have, we always deliver without compromise to the high standards that we are renowned for.

So, when receiving an enquiry for balcony glass in a Grade II listed building, we eagerly helped to ensure the specifications matched and fulfilled the needs of our client.

The building in question, Belsyre Court, was originally built in 1936 and has experienced several renovations over its life, the most recent in 2019. Belsyre Court is a Jacobean style building of mixed use and comprises of a U-shaped apartment block, with an entrance off Observatory Street and a shopping parade, behind a colonnade on the Woodstock Road.

The north and west ranges have 3 tiers of balconies between bays, with heavily-turned wooden balustrading, built-in terracotta planting boxes and plate-glass doors behind wide artificial stone Tudor arches.

Kite Glass manufactured and supplied 30 Anti-Reflective panels of 21.5mm clear ClearTecTM Anti-Reflective Heat Soaked, toughened laminated glass with CNC polished edges for each of the apartment balconies in this four-storey building.
