As specialists in glass lamination, Kite Glass frequently produce glass products that require additional preparation to meet the rigorous specifications needed to achieve the quality standards our customers require for the environments where our products are used.
In addition to our dust-free and environmentally controlled main laminating lines, Kite Glass have a dedicated clean room for the preparation of some of the highly specialist laminated glass products we produce. Within the clean room, we produce smaller laminated glass sheets that are prepared using a vacuum process. The vacuum process helps to ensure the interlayer or interlayers achieve perfect bonding by attaining even atmospheric pressure prior to and during the time the sheets are in our Autoclave.
Our specialist clean room has controlled access to help manage air temperature and humidity; inward-bound air is filtered to remove dust particles that could affect the quality of our finished product.
