Architectural Glass

architectural glassOver the past two decades, architects have benefited from cutting edge technology advancements in interlayer glass products that have been developed for external and internal glass applications. Today our capital cities and business areas thrive with beautiful, stylish buildings. The majority of these are complete with facades made entirely of glass and magnificent glassed atriums, providing more light and a greater feeling of space than ever possible with traditionally clad or constructed buildings.

The advanced Kuraray interlayers that we use (in combination with glass) in the production of Kite Glass toughened laminated architectural glass, provide simply outstanding aesthetic and structural qualities.

Kite Glass’ new, innovative product, LamitecSuper™, forms part of our architectural glass range, combining an advanced interlayer with toughened glass. This particular glass is produced with a higher degree of compressive stress and tighter controls on distortion, allowing for strength and greater durability. So whilst the interlayer is important, it is only when the interlayer is combined with Kite Glass toughened glass using our exacting manufacturing techniques that the complete performance of LamitecSuper™ is achieved.
