Durability

Durability

Replacing architectural glass once installed can be a very expensive and disruptive process, and is often avoidable. Correctly specified and subsequently manufactured to exacting quality standards, architectural glass has the potential of lasting and retaining its qualities for multiple decades.

Alas, in today’s highly price-driven market, a low-cost option for architectural glass is relatively easy to find.

When it comes to manufacturing to the highest standard, Kite Glass is strict in only using superior base materials, this ensures our products are of the highest durability and quality and are fit for their purpose. We believe in producing only the finest, long-lasting and quality glazing that provides the best economical value.

From the very outset of the Kite Glass business we have maintained a constant and high level of quality standards across our business, and are known industry-wide for quality work, holding the BSI Kitemark™ standard since 1990. We often undertake replacement work for customers who have had glass installed that was incorrectly specified and manufactured by the original supplier. As a result, we are frequently asked to advise on the suitability and life expectancy of glass used in critical areas.
